Qualification: B.in Engineering.
Job Summary:
- The Plant Head will oversee end-to-end operations of the cable manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth functioning across production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch.
- The role focuses on achieving operational excellence through strategic planning, cost control, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall plant operations - production, maintenance, quality, and shipping.
- Achieve productivity, quality, and cost targets through efficient resource utilization.
- Implement safety, quality, and operational best practices.
- Drive Kaizen and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage plant budgets and ensure cost optimization.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams for high performance.
- Prepare and present MIS and performance reports to management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and plant management.
- Expertise in production planning, quality control, and maintenance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exposure to Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement practices.
