Industry Preference: Fertilizers / Pesticides / Agro chemicals Role & Responsibility : The primary role of the Plant Head would be to look after the plant operations including meeting production targets, profit & loss, and revenue generation. Production Goals : - Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the factory. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet ongoing and upcoming market demands. - Develop strategies to meet production goals and standards at a minimal manufacturing costs while allocating resources effectively to produce optimal results. - Responsible for production output and product quality. - Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets. Process Enhancement : - Work closely with quality personnel to ensure product quality. - Monitor Wastages to determine areas of improvement and take remedial steps. - Work directly with department heads to coordinate purchasing, production, distribution and other factory operations. - Institute policies and procedures, train supervisors and administrators, to ensure minimum deviations. Safety : - Ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for employees - Adherence to safety standards and ensure compliance to environment and Safety Management system. Statutory Compliance : - Timely and accurately compliance of all applicable statutory compliances. - Regular review of latest amendments under acts and compliance guidelines Monitor monthly deviations from the plan and take appropriate corrective /preventive actions to meet annual targets towards realization of unit scorecard. - Deliver bottom-line impact by reducing year on year cost of operations. Employee Recruitment, Retention, and Capability Building : - Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled team of plant supervisory and administrative staff. Foster a motivated and well-trained workforce capable of delivering excellence. - Address employees' grievances and maintaining harmony inside and outside the plant. Community Relations : - Establish and cultivate positive relationships within the community, reflecting the company's commitment to responsible and ethical business practices. MIS Reporting : - Prepare and submit comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports to top management, offering meaningful insights into plant operations and performance. Required Profile : - Person from Agro, Fertilizer, Pesticide and Chemical industry shall be preferred. - Individual should be excellent at communication, collaboration, empathy, and presentation.
