Plant Head - Chemical Manufacturing

Job Description:

EHS & Other Compliances:

- Ensuring adherence to all EHS related matters in the Unit.

- Compliance w.t regulatory related matters / Govt. related sensitive matters understand and ensure proactive compliance of all applicable Statutory Acts and rules pertaining to running of the Units.

- S/he will handle government representatives and all the correspondence with government authorities in line with laid-down policies and guidelines, and coordinate with HO wherever required).

Service:

- Ensuring seamless servicing based on daily BOR.

- Responsible for Implementation of Initiatives or Assignments driven by HO.

- Represents the company, while engaging with External/Govt bodies, in line with companys stated approach.

- Ensuring minimal manufacturing cost & maximum capacity utilization through optimal utilization of man material & machine.

Engineering and Maintenance:

- In charge of Plant upkeep and Maintenance Engineering of the Unit (incl. Packaging Machinery).

- This will include all properties and assets of the company.

- Responsible for Plant Engineering support for Project implementation.

People related:

- Maintain high levels of employee engagement and proactively address any local HR issues if they arise incl. maintaining harmonious relations with workmen.

Systems and Processes:

- Provide training on all systems and processes for the Unit and also ensure adherence to all systems and processes in the plant.

- This includes overseeing and ensuring Implementation of FMS.

Supply Chain/Projects:

- Selective support for solving supply chain issues for the Unit (inc. removal of structural constraints through remedial actions).

- Wherever required provide support for execution related to HO functions such as Projects, Quality, Productivity etc.

- QA related Support QA only basis need or wherever called for (i. wherever intervention is sought by QA HO).

- Min 15-20 years experience.

- Leadership skills, system knowledge, ability to work in various multidimensional & Multicultural group.

- Industries: Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred.

- Desired: B.Tech /B. (Chemical) or B.E (Mechanical) + Masters (preferred).

- Sizeable experience in Chemical industry.
