Plant ER Manager:

Location - Bharuch- Jhagadia, Gujarat.

Role Overview:

The Employee Relations professional will be responsible for managing employee-related matters, maintaining a positive work environment, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day Employee Relations (ER) activities and employee grievances.

- Handle employee complaints, conflicts, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.

- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and recommend appropriate resolutions.

- Ensure effective implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

- Partner with managers and business leaders to address employee-related issues.

- Support disciplinary actions, warning letters, show-cause notices, and termination processes as per company policy.

- Maintain proper documentation and records of employee relations cases.

- Monitor employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.

- Conduct exit interviews and identify recurring employee concerns.

- Support employee counselling and conflict-resolution initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with legal and HR teams on complex employee relations matters.

- Identify potential employee-relations risks and recommend preventive measures.

- Support HR audits, policy reviews, and continuous improvement of ER processes.

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and cases.

- Prepare regular reports and MIS related to employee grievances, disciplinary cases, attrition, and ER activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Employee Relations and HR policies.

- Good understanding of Labour Laws and statutory compliance.

- Strong grievance-handling and conflict-resolution skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong investigation and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.

- Good documentation and report-writing skills.

- Strong stakeholder-management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS systems.

Qualification:

- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations / HR / Industrial Relations.

- Experience in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and HR policy implementation will be preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience:

- Manufacturing

- FMCG
