Who we are: We are building Plaksha, a 21st Century University anchored in technology with an aim to help solve some of the world's toughest challenges through transformational education. Our graduates will not just be engineers by degree, but true innovators, inventors, and problem solvers. The founding team of Reimagining Higher Education Foundation (RHEF), the sponsoring body of Plaksha is made up of CEOs, Entrepreneurs, and companies. Our need at the moment is an Manager/Associate - Admissions for the undergraduate program, which will launch in September 2022. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both people and data! Role and Responsibilities: Admissions: - Manage timely, thoughtful and detailed review of applications for the undergraduate programs - Plan and organize interviews with applicants across the country - Organize large volumes of data to ensure all applicant-related data is recorded efficiently and accurately - Ensure all applicant queries are answered on a timely basis - Collate and present admissions related data to Founders and Faculty - Any other admissions related tasks Personal qualities and skills desired: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - Keen eye for detail and ability to work with large volumes of data - Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Excel - Willingness to travel across the country to conduct admissions and outreach related events (once it is safe to travel) - Strong leadership and organizational ability - Flexibility in a start-up environment with dynamically changing scope of work and needs - Self-driven, proactive and motivated to go above and beyond what is asked, to deliver exceptional outcomes, not just acceptable ones - A team player ready to step up as needed to support overall project requirements
