JOB SUMMARY: As the Tech Business Analyst, you will work in collaboration as part of the product squad team to facilitate clear and open communication between business stakeholders, engineers, and the product owner. You will be responsible for creating the required artifacts (epics, stories, etc.) to maximize value, you play a central role in aligning the needs of the business with the capabilities delivered by the technology solution/product. An Agile business analyst focuses on delivering effective business value as quickly as possible through the application of agile practices, principles, and lean thinking. You will consult with the business and product owners to prioritize and shape the product backlog, using agile practices for prioritisation around business value and work with product managers and epic owners to develop business cases, as required. As the Tech Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary teams with user stories and coaching to define the business-driven acceptance criteria and test cases. Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for assigned Scrum team. The position will report to the PRI Product & Platform Lead- Commercial IT. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational & Functional - Strong understanding of agile methodologies and ways of working - Collaborates with the Product Owner to gain a clear understanding of all business processes, procedures, goals, and objectives - Works in partnership with the Product Owner to write clear and concise user stories/epics - Conducts requirements walk throughs sessions - Works with Product Owner, product squads, customers, architects to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small, and testable - Attends and engages in the various meetings as required (iteration & release planning, backlog prioritization, retrospectives, sprint review and daily stand ups). - Assists the Product Owner and Scrum Master to prepare for Team Sprint Reviews and system demos. - Provide additional support and guidance during the implementation phase to include development of demos or training resources. - Validate product deliveries meet customer requirements - Constantly looks for ways to improve processes and discuss issues, all to deliver better value to the customer - To increase the business value, collaborate with the product owner to create and prioritize product backlog - Provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria Business acumen and partnership - Act as a partner with business stakeholders on Technology - Propose technologies and solutions which could benefits to the business - Strong understanding of Commercial business processes, GTMs and associated drivers SKILL REQUIRED: - IT Strategy & Planning - IT Governance & Compliance - Innovation & new tech. - IT Solutions Delivery - IT Support Services - IT Technical Expertise - Vendor Management - Project Management - Change Management - Business Acumen - Relationship Building Leadership profile - Strategic vision - Entrepreneurship - Results Orientation - Live the Values - People Development - Team Management PROFILE DETAILS- Education required: - Degree qualifications in IT or a related discipline and/or an equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience in IT systems analysis and design. Experience / Background: - 5 years minimum experience as an Tech Business Analyst - 2+ years working in Agile teams (preferable) - Proficient in the use of Business Process modeling tools and standard modeling conventions - Proficient in system analysis and troubleshooting to analyze, isolate, and document problems/issues, identify risks, and develop options/solutions. - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - Experience in Agile methodology, writing user stories or epics, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog - Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment - Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills - Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment - Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills and the proven use of initiative in solving problems, including knowledge and experience in defining, implementing, and enhancing business process. - Experience in a range of business analysis approaches and techniques - A passion for Innovation, agile and delivering exceptional quality outcomes considering business and customer experiences - Strong experience in analyzing and documenting complex business processes using process modelling tools - Experience with collaboration tools (JIRA) - Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio Language: - Fluent in English
