We are seeking a Key Account Manager to strengthen relationships with existing clients, drive revenue growth, and unlock new business opportunities through strategic account planning and execution.
Role Overview:
The Key Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, owning end-to-end relationship management, sales forecasting, and business growth. The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term advisory relationships with customers
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless execution
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Grow and develop existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Identify, propose, and execute new business strategies to expand account footprint
- Support onboarding and ramp-up of new accounts when required
Sales Planning & Forecasting:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Track account performance against targets and take corrective actions where needed
- Ensure forecast accuracy and timely reporting to leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain
- Coordinate on product availability, promotions, launches, and operational execution
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated clearly and fulfilled on time
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor account KPIs such as revenue growth, sell-through, and account profitability
- Prepare regular business reviews, reports, and presentations
- Share customer insights and market feedback with internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field
Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
- Experience in consumer electronics, mobile accessories, retail, or eCommerce is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
