Senior Territory Manager Job Description: - Pearson India Education Services Private Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our Test Preparation Division in Karnataka, based out of Bangalore. - We are looking for an individual who is not only well-qualified but also possesses the determination and skills required to drive sales in the competitive Test Preparation industry. - Candidates from Publishing / K12 / Schools / Test Preparation Industry would be preferred. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prospect Identification: Identify potential customers and market segments for our Test Preparation products and services. 2. Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, educators, and influencers in the education sector. 3. Retailer and Distributor Management: Collaborate with retailers and distributors to expand our market presence and ensure effective distribution of our products. 4. Sales Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and achieve targets. 5. Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the value of our offerings to clients. 6. Data Management: Utilize MS Excel, MS Word, and other tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentations. 7. E-mail Etiquettes: Maintain professional e-mail communication with clients, colleagues, and partners. Qualifications & Experience: - MBA graduation with a minimum of 3 years to 10 years of sales experience in the Test Preparation industry is preferred. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant software. - Willingness to explore new opportunities and expand the product portfolio. - Self-motivated and able to work independently. - Knowledge of the education sector and the competitive landscape is a plus.
