
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for on-roll and off-roll employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage payroll inputs such as attendance, incentives, bonuses, variable pay, and deductions in coordination with HR and Finance teams.
- Validate payroll output, tax computations, and reconciliations; ensure statutory filings (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc.) are completed on time.
- Handle payroll audits, employee queries, and liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
- Implement governance and control frameworks to ensure data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality in payroll processing.
Automation & Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end payroll automation projects, from requirement gathering to design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Implement and optimize payroll systems and integrate them with HRMS, ERP, Finance, and Time Management platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Darwin box, etc.).
- Identify automation opportunities using RPA, APIs, scripts, or AI-driven tools to streamline payroll operations and reduce manual effort.
