About the Role:
- We're looking for a PR, Brand & Communications professional to help shape how the world sees Pay10: our corporate brand and our leadership.
- From media relations and storytelling to online reputation and executive visibility, you'll be the custodian of trust and credibility for the company externally, as well as internally.
- This role combines strategic narrative-building with hands-on execution-working closely with PR agencies, management, leadership and internal teams to amplify the voice of Pay10 India across traditional and digital channels.
- We are seeking a strategic, hands-on communications leader to drive PR, brand reputation, and corporate visibility for Pay10 in India.
- As AGM/GM - PR, Brand & Communications, you will shape how the company is perceived by media, industry stakeholders, regulators, merchants, and consumers.
- You'll lead external communication through earned media, thought leadership, branded IPs, sponsorships, and online reputation management.
- This role requires both strategy and execution, with a focus on building trust and awareness in a regulated, high-growth sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication & Brand Building:
- Develop and lead Pay10's corporate communication and brand positioning strategy for the Indian market.
- Define and maintain a consistent brand identity, voice, and messaging framework across all touchpoints such as the website, social media, media, employee communication, etc.
- Drive reputation management efforts with a balance of storytelling, credibility, and compliance.
Media Relations & Thought Leadership.
- Build and manage strong relationships with India's top-tier business, technology, and fintech media.
- Drive positive coverage through press releases, features, media interviews, and authored articles.
- Manage CXO positioning through industry commentary, interviews, and speaker engagements.
Online Reputation Management.
- Lead ORM across platforms (Google, review sites, news portals, forums) using monitoring and sentiment tools.
- Develop proactive response strategies to misinformation or negative sentiment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage issue escalation and digital feedback loops.
Branded IPs & Sponsorships.
- Conceptualize and launch branded content series and thought leadership platforms (e.
webinars, founder journals, ecosystem reports).
- Identify and execute strategic sponsorships and co-branded activations to drive thought leadership and trust.
- Manage end-to-end execution, performance measurement, and partner coordination.
Content & Asset Development.
- Oversee development of key brand assets-press kits, media FAQs, brand decks, speeches, product FAQs, and regulatory messaging.
- Ensure content is consistent, credible, and compliant with RBI-regulated communication norms.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across marketing, business, management, legal & compliance, HR, and customer success.
- Manage external PR, creative, and ORM agencies.
- Contribute to crisis communication planning and response.
- Develop and manage internal communications, and employer brand value proposition externally with HR.
Ideal Candidate.
- 8-12 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or brand management, preferably in fintech, BFSI, payments, or regulated industries.
- Strong experience in media relations, reputation strategy, and stakeholder storytelling.
- Familiar with handling CXO visibility and founder-led narratives.
- Hands-on with ORM tools, sentiment tracking, and digital listening.
- Proven experience launching branded content/IPs or sponsorship-led marketing initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and agency leadership skills.
- India-focused comms experience across metros, Tier 2/3 markets, and digital-first communities.
