
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal Manager with expertise in legal document abstraction and strong team management capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 30+ paralegal professionals, ensuring high-quality legal document review, process compliance, and operational excellence. This role requires a strong blend of legal knowledge, process rigor, people leadership, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of 30+ paralegal professionals handling legal document abstraction and analysis.
- Oversee end-to-end legal document review, abstraction, summarization, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure accurate extraction of critical legal information from contracts, agreements, litigation documents, and compliance-related records.
- Establish and maintain process rigor, SOPs, and operational governance frameworks.
- Drive team productivity, resource allocation, workload balancing, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor performance metrics, SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in legal deliverables.
- Collaborate with legal teams, attorneys, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation or workflow enhancements where applicable.
- Handle escalations, resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth workflow management.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality, data privacy, and legal compliance standards.
