Opportunity:


As a Business Development Manager, you will:

- Build and manage relationships with state education departments, NGOs, and government bodies.

- Represent OUP at official forums and advocate for its educational solutions.

- Align OUP's offerings with government programs and digital education trends.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans for government and CSR engagement.

- Lead the development and implementation of government-funded educational projects.

- Monitor tenders, draft proposals, and ensure compliance with technical and financial requirements.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored educational solutions.

- Track and report on project progress and educational impact.

- Your work will directly influence OUP's growth in the government education sector and contribute to the broader mission of improving educational outcomes across India.

About You Essential Criteria:

- Bachelor's degree in any field (Master's or professional degree preferred).

- Minimum 10 years of experience in government relations, education policy, or a related field-preferably in publishing or education.

- Deep understanding of central and state government education policies and funding mechanisms.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

- Proven business development skills and market acumen.
