Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Closing:

- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

- Review General Ledgers (GLs) and financial statements under IFRS and IND AS standards.

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and accounting schedules.

- Monitor accounting operations to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting policies.

- Ensure books of accounts are closed within defined timelines with high accuracy.

Audit & Compliance:

- Manage Limited Reviews, statutory audits, and annual audit processes.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.

- Strengthen audit processes, controls, and financial documentation standards.

- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements at all times.

- Address audit observations and implement corrective actions effectively.

Governance & Internal Controls:

- Develop, implement, and strengthen internal control frameworks and governance processes.

- Ensure strong financial process controls and compliance mechanisms across functions.

- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational interests.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial governance and operational controls.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Prepare quarterly and annual financial performance presentations for the Board and senior leadership.

- Support leadership with financial insights, variance analysis, and performance reporting.

- Analyze financial results and recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.

- Assist in strategic financial planning and business decision-making.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and groom finance and accounting team members.

- Drive performance excellence and capability development within the finance team.

- Foster collaboration, accountability, and process discipline across finance operations.

- Build a strong culture of compliance, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within finance operations.

- Standardize accounting processes and reporting mechanisms.

- Ensure efficient documentation and maintenance of accounting records and financial data.

- Support implementation of finance transformation and digitalization initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Accounting & Financial Reporting

Strong expertise in:

- IFRS

- IND AS

- Financial accounting

- General ledger management

- Financial statement preparation

- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks.

- Audit & Compliance

Extensive experience handling:

- Statutory audits

- Internal audits

- Limited Reviews

- Regulatory compliance

- Strong understanding of audit controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Financial Controls & Governance

- Expertise in internal controls, financial governance, and risk management.

- Strong understanding of financial processes, policies, and compliance standards.

- Ability to strengthen financial systems and control environments.

Financial Analysis:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience preparing management reports, MIS, and Board presentations.

- Ability to analyze business performance and financial trends effectively.

Systems & Tools:

- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.

Strong working knowledge of:

- MS Excel

- Financial reporting tools

- Data analysis and presentation tools

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, and controllership functions.

- Experience in handling audits, financial governance, and enterprise financial reporting.

- Prior experience in large organizations or enterprise environments preferred.
