About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager / Manager to lead and manage B2B sales efforts for Open Access power supply in Tamil Nadu.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial energy marketing with a focus on HT consumers and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, commercial calculations, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, approach, and onboard HT (High Tension) consumers for Open Access power supply solutions.

- Develop and communicate compelling value propositions to encourage switching from TANGEDCO and IEX supply.

- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including proposal creation, PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) negotiation, and contract finalization.

- Stay updated with regulatory components (CSS, transmission/wheeling charges, banking provisions) and effectively communicate them to clients.

- Monitor energy market trends and regulatory changes to inform pricing strategy and optimize client solutions.

- Handle operational tasks such as energy banking, billing reconciliation, and resolving disputes.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in B2B energy/power marketing, preferably with a focus on HT consumers.

- Hands-on experience in Open Access power sales, especially under Group Captive and Third-Party Sale models.

- Strong commercial and financial skills, with the ability to calculate the landed cost of power and assess financial viability.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client-handling skills.

- Self-driven, proactive, and willing to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferred
