Business Development & Client Acquisition (Exports):

1. Independently identify, research, and target potential international clients for Christmas crafts and everyday living home textiles.

2. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to generate new business leads and expand market share in key export regions.

3. Initiate and build strong relationships with prospective clients through various channels industry events, trade shows, and networking.

4. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities.

5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.

6. Collaborate with internal teams (production, design, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.

7. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs for export markets.

Merchandising & Product Development Support (Exports):

1. Act as a crucial link between the client, sales, and design/production teams for export orders.

2. Understand and interpret client briefs, design specifications, and quality requirements for new and existing products.

3. Provide market insights and feedback to the design teams to ensure product offerings are competitive and aligned with international trends and buyer preferences for Christmas crafts and home textiles.

4. Manage the sampling process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications and quality standards.

5. Monitor production progress for export orders, proactively addressing any potential delays or quality issues.

6. Ensure all product documentation, packaging, and labeling comply with international regulations and client requirements.

7. Participate in product development meetings, contributing ideas for new collections and product enhancements based on market demand.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Textile Design, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or merchandising preferably within a manufacturing company,

3. Proficient in market research, sales forecasting, and data analysis.

4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software is a plus.

5. Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads, close deals, and build lasting client relationships.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex product information and negotiate effectively.

7. Strong ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

8. Willingness to travel internationally for factory visits as required.

9. Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Working days: Monday to Saturday
