- We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations, including contract manufacturing, for our new Jewellery Division based in Surat and Mumbai. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing colour stones and diamonds while managing jewellery production through job work vendors. This role demands a strong background in jewellery operations, sourcing, and production management to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely output. Key Responsibilities: - Sourcing & Procurement: Oversee the procurement of diamonds and color stones, ensuring quality, consistency, and cost efficiency. - Manufacturing Oversight: Manage jewellery production operations through job work vendors, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery. - Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain product standards. - Vendor & Supplier Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. - Inventory & Production Management: Optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and cost control measures to maximize efficiency. - Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategic improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. Requirements - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing and sourcing.
