Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & Corporate Finance:
- Lead the annual budget and forecasting process for operations, including working with different departments on their key spending plans, financial planning calendar and implementing appropriate review processes.
- Tracking spends to budget variance on a constant basis - create dashboards for the key stakeholders to ensure adherence to the budgets agreed.
- Cash management | treasury and banking functions, etc.
- Finalization of accounts, books, and reporting as per the global practice of the organization.
- Ensuring periodic audits for the business with the statutory auditors and Internal auditors.
Supply Chain:
- Directing, managing, and coordinating purchases, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Distribution of finished products.
- Responsible for forecasting demand, production scheduling & co-ordination, dispatch scheduling, analyzing inventory and troubleshooting issues with the potential of affecting supplies.
Driving Cost Savings:
- Setting cost saving targets.
- Work towards reducing overall cost of operations.
- Strategic approaches to achieving targets.
- Negotiations, alternate vendor development, alternate items/ specifications/ processes, cycle time improvements, better credit terms - funds and spend management.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Drive continuous improvement in operations in terms of cost, quality & risk; Pivotal in developing policies, procedures, systems, and controls relating to all commercial functions.
- Develop overall sourcing strategy with the Procurement stakeholders through analysis of spending, processes and practices that support cost saving goals.
Inventory & Store Management:
- Safety and assets / inventory management in a dynamic environment and establish controls to ensure lowest possible levels based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Import/ Export Administration & Logistics:
- Negotiate direct contracts with shipping lines, multi-modal transport.
- Knowledge of Customs, DGFT, Banking formalities for export/import.
- Compliance of all direct and Indirect Taxes as per the applicable law of the land.
Liasoning:
- Liaison with Government authorities, DGFT, Customs & Excise, Banks, Shipping Lines, Transporters & Forwarders, CHA's.

Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA/CMA), or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 15 - 18 years of relevant experience across manufacturing, industrials, engineering, and plant environment (finance).
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing within a manufacturing environment along with strong expertise in SAP HANA, cost controlling, profitability analysis, and plant finance operations.
- Demonstrated capability in establishing processes, internal controls, and governance frameworks in greenfield projects.
- Experience partnering with business and plant leadership teams to drive operational performance and strategic decision-making.
- Proven track record of building and developing finance teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance within multinational matrix organizations.
- Proficiency in the local language - Marathi
