About the Role:

The Operations Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement and operational efficiency across a chain of hospitals or healthcare facilities.

The primary goal is to enhance patient experience, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization through the application of structured management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Optimization: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other performance improvement methodologies to streamline key healthcare processes, such as patient admission/discharge, surgical suite turnover, and inventory management.

- Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for critical operational areas ( average waiting time, patient safety scores, staff productivity) and lead weekly performance review meetings.

- Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT to successfully deploy and integrate new hospital information systems (HIS) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) to maximize operational benefits.

- Resource Management: Analyze staffing models, equipment utilization, and supply chain logistics to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality of care.

- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all operational procedures comply with national healthcare standards, accreditation bodies, and internal quality protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Full-time MBA/PGDM (preferred specializations: Operations, Healthcare Management, or Strategy).

- Experience: 3-5 years of post-MBA experience, specifically in Operations Consulting, Industrial Engineering, or an Operations/Process Improvement role within the Healthcare, Aviation, or Manufacturing sectors.

- Hard Skills: Certified in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred).

- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL) for performance diagnostics.

- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solver, empathetic leader, excellent change management skills, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
