The Opportunity: Business Development Manager: We're looking for a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Pune. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, developing strategic growth plans, and significantly contributing to our revenue expansion. What You'll Do: As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving Onelab Ventures' growth. Your responsibilities will include: - Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Proactively researching and identifying new business opportunities within target industries, particularly in custom software development, AI solutions, and SaaS. - Client Relationship Management: Building, nurturing, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their evolving needs. - Consultative Selling: Engaging in deep, consultative conversations to understand client pain points and effectively propose tailored, high-value AI and software solutions. - Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure, focusing on high-ticket deals in the $10K$100K+ range. - Lead Generation & Campaign Execution: Planning and executing targeted lead generation campaigns through various channels, including cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and calls. - Sales Development Representative (SDR) Management: Providing coaching, guidance, and strategic direction to SDRs to enhance their performance and optimize lead qualification processes. - Proposal Development: Preparing compelling and customized proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of Onelab Ventures' solutions. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with our technical and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and are successfully implemented. - Account Management: Driving account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring high client retention through effective relationship management and renewals. - Performance Analysis & Forecasting: Analyzing sales data, tracking key metrics, and providing accurate sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making. - Tool Proficiency: Leveraging CRM systems, cold email platforms, automation tools, and other sales technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. What We're Looking For: - 5+ years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, with a strong preference for experience in custom software development, AI solutions, and SaaS. - Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, with a track record of understanding complex client challenges and crafting effective, tailored solutions. - A strong history of closing high-ticket deals (specifically in the $10K$100K+ range). - Experience handling both inside sales and field sales. - Proven ability to manage and mentor SDRs, with a focus on improving their performance through coaching and systemic improvements. - Hands-on experience in planning and executing lead generation campaigns via cold emails, LinkedIn, and calls. - Proficiency with various sales tools, including CRM systems, cold email platforms, and automation tools. - Experience working with international clients, with a preference for those in the US and Europe. - Exceptional account management skills, including maintaining client relationships, driving upsells, and managing renewals. - A solid understanding of tech and AI products, with the ability to effectively position them to diverse Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs). - Strong numerical aptitude and expertise in sales forecasting. - Flexibility with working hours to effectively align with US/EU time zones as needed.
