Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Pune branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, managing branch operations, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring superior customer service. This role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and operational expertise in the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of insurance sales and service professionals.
- Drive revenue growth through acquisition of new customers and upselling to existing ones.
- Ensure achievement of branch targets across insurance products (life and general).
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on insurance products and claims processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and insurance providers.
- Manage end-to-end customer service delivery, ensuring a smooth and efficient claims experience.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to implement strategic initiatives and business plans.
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company standards at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in insurance sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- In-depth understanding of life and general insurance products.
- Strong experience in managing direct channel operations is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in team management, target achievement, and customer engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and lead by example.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and insurance platforms.
