Role: Senior Manager - Legal

Role Overview
The Senior Manager - Legal will play a critical role in supporting MobiKwik's fintech operations by ensuring robust regulatory compliance, managing litigation and law enforcement matters, and providing strategic legal advisory to business teams. This role requires close collaboration with compliance, product, operations, and leadership teams to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape while enabling business growth in a highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements in line with fintech and financial services regulations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fintech, NBFC, RBI, and other regulatory requirements.
- Handle police complaints, regulatory notices, and coordination with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
- Manage litigation matters end-to-end, including coordination with external counsels and case tracking.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research using law and information platforms to support business decisions.
- Handle intellectual property-related work, including trademarks, copyrights, and related filings and advisory.
Candidate Profile
- Law graduate from a reputed/top-tier college or university.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience in fintech, financial services, NBFC, or banking sector.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of regulatory risk and compliance.
- Experience in handling litigation, regulatory matters, and law enforcement coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
