Olam Agri - Engineering Manager

Job Description:

The Engineering Manager leads plant operations, ensuring equipment reliability and production efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards.

Collaborating with production, quality, and operations teams, you will drive continuous improvement and support engineers and maintenance staff.

The manager aligns projects with Olam Agris standards, focusing on reliability, sustainability, and new technology adoption.

Promoting safety and compliance, monitoring equipment data, and planning resources maximize uptime and operational success in this dynamic agri-business role.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all plant machinery and equipment to ensure consistent, high-level performance.

- Monitor and evaluate plant utilities and equipment efficiency, proactively addressing issues to sustain continuous production flows.

- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges swiftly to minimize disruptions and maintain operational stability.

- Lead efforts in the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of plant equipment, ensuring integration that enhances productivity and safety.

- Enforce compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards as well as internal engineering guidelines.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements that increase plant reliability and optimize resource use.

Job Requirements:

- 12 to 15 years of extensive experience in plant engineering, maintenance, or various manufacturing roles.

- Experience in the Animal Feed industry, FMCG, food processing, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

- Exposure to maintenance systems, utilities management, and overall plant operations is considered a valuable advantage.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
