Ola Electric - Lead - Corporate Finance - IIM/ISB/XLRI/SPJIMR/JBIMS

Role Overview:

This role will anchor end-to-end capital raising across debt and equity, manage relationships with lenders and investors, and drive capital structure decisions for a fast-scaling, capital-intensive business. The ideal candidate brings a blend of investment banking rigor and corporate execution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising & Capital Strategy:

- Lead debt and equity fundraising (domestic & international markets)

- Structure and execute transactions across project finance, structured debt, bonds, and equity raises

- Drive capital structure optimization, refinancing, and cost of capital efficiency

2. Investor & Lender Management:

- Build and manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and institutional investors

- Engage with rating agencies, advisors, and external stakeholders

- Support ongoing investor communication and governance

3. Financial Strategy & Execution:

- Drive financial modeling, valuation, and transaction diligence

- Evaluate strategic investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities

- Partner with leadership on long-term financing roadmap

4. Governance & Risk:

- Strengthen treasury frameworks, compliance, and risk management practices

- Ensure discipline in cash flow, liquidity planning, and reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Early career in Investment Banking (DCM / Leveraged Finance / Project Finance / M&A)

- Transitioned into Corporate Finance / Treasury / Capital Markets role in a large organization

Experience & Education:

- 15 - 22 years overall in corporate finance / treasury / capital markets roles

- CA / CFA preferred

- Tier-1 MBA (Indian Institutes of Management, Indian School of Business, XLRI, SPJIMR, JBIMS)
