Role Description
We are seeking an Advertising Sales Manager with 36 years of experience in media sales, responsible for driving advertising revenues through on-screen and off-screen opportunities across NY Cinemas. The role requires building strong client relationships, closing high-value deals, and developing innovative sales strategies that maximize revenue and brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Drive sales of on-screen and off-screen advertising opportunities across cinema properties.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, corporates, and brand partners.
- Promote cinema auditoriums as venues for non-movie content, seminars, conferences, and functions.
- Explore and secure rental tie-ups for cinema lobbies and experiential activations.
- Deliver customized advertising solutions to meet client objectives.
- Negotiate, finalize, and close sales contracts with strong profitability focus.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales pipeline, closures, and revenue forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal marketing, operations, and technical teams for seamless campaign execution.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure repeat business.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of media sales and cinema advertising ecosystem.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify new revenue streams and develop innovative advertising solutions.
- Strong client relationship management and networking skills.
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate market trends into business opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in entertainment, media, or related industries preferred.
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3 - 6 years of proven experience in advertising/media sales, preferably in cinema, media, or entertainment.
