Role Overview:


The Human Resources Manager is a critical full-time on-site leadership position based in Mumbai, responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions.


The incumbent will focus on developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals, ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and regulations.


This role requires a strong focus on talent management, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and employee engagement.


Job Summary:


We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager with a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field to lead all HR operations in Mumbai.


The ideal candidate must possess expertise in employee relations, performance management, and comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.


Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire recruitment process, driving strategic HR initiatives, managing employee engagement programs, and ensuring all training and development activities are executed efficiently using HR software and strong organizational skills.


Experience in the electrical or manufacturing industry is a definite advantage.


Key Responsibilities and HR Management Deliverables:


Strategic HR and Compliance:


- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business growth and talent objectives.


- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations (local, state, and central), mitigating legal risks, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant statutory requirements.


- Utilize Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline HR operations, reporting, and data management.


Talent Acquisition and Development:


- Overseeing the recruitment process end-to-end, from workforce planning and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and seamless onboarding.


- Design and manage training, and development programs to enhance employee competencies and career progression.


Performance and Engagement:


- Handle performance management cycles, including goal setting, continuous feedback, appraisals, and development planning.


- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, productive, and committed work environment.


Employee Relations:


- Managing employee relations effectively, addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and promoting fair and consistent application of company policies.


- Applying Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to mediate disputes and build strong relationships with all levels of staff.


Mandatory Skills & Qualifications


Functional Expertise: Experience in employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.


Strategy: Skills in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.


Compliance: Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.


Talent Management: Ability to manage recruitment processes and training programs.


Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.


Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.


Preferred Skills:


Industry Experience: Experience in the electrical or manufacturing industry is a plus.


- Proficiency with specific HRIS/HRM platforms.


- Experience handling disciplinary inquiries and employee union relations (if applicable to the industry)
