Job Summary: Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. is seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Applications IT Strategy, Delivery & Operations. He/She will be responsible for driving digital transformation, managing enterprise architecture, and ensuring successful delivery and governance of technology programs and application operations across multiple business functions. He/She will Lead to spearhead enterprise application and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across all SAP modules and a proven track record of leading application verticals in large organizations. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Power BI analytics, Applications development and cutting-edge AI technologies including Agentic AI. This role combines strategic planning, stakeholder management, and technical expertise to align IT initiatives with business objectives, optimize processes, and deliver measurable outcomes

Enterprise Application Leadership: Lead and manage the entire application landscape, with a strong focus on SAP (ECC/S4 HANA and related modules), ensuring alignment with business goals.

AI & BI Strategy Development: Design and implement scalable AI/BI solutions, including Agentic AI, to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Data Architecture: Oversee the development and integration of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses to support advanced analytics and reporting.

Digital Transformation: Partner with multiple Business Units (BU) to identify opportunities for digitalization and deliver measurable business value.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key business functionsManufacturing, Logistics, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurementto understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Innovation & Solutioning: Act as a self-starter and innovation catalyst, creating cutting-edge, business-centric solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure application and data governance, security, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Client Partnership & Sales Support:

Act as a trusted technology partner for client-facing functions, supporting sales and solutioning activities.

Enterprise Architecture & SAP Expertise:

Provide architectural guidance across business functions.

Deep experience in SAP solutions including Ariba, C4C, Hybris, IBP, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Travel & Expense Management.

Business & Technical Alignment:

Translate business requirements into technical specifications with strong cross-functional understanding.

Drive digital roadmap creation and optimization initiatives.

Software Licenses management:

Financial & Budget Management:

Plan and manage IT budgets (CapEx and OpEx).

Ensure cost optimization while maintaining service quality.

Program & Delivery Management:

Lead large-scale programs and projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope.

Manage SAP Change and Release processes.

Application Operations Management & Governance:

Oversee end-to-end application operations ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.

Implement governance frameworks for application lifecycle management and ITIL-based service operations.

Support Statutory Audit and ensure compliances

Technology Leadership:

Stay updated on latest web technologies (Laravel, ReactJS, Node.js, Python) and automation trends (RPA).

Provide guidance on BI analytics and AI adoption.

Governance & Reviews:

Lead QPR, AOP, and monthly reviews with senior management.

Ensure compliance with ITIL service operations for applications.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

Manage senior stakeholders and external vendors.

Handle escalations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Collaborate with other functional client partners.

Mentor team members to build capability and drive performance.

20+ years of experience in leading enterprise applications, preferably in Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma, or Technology sectors.

Deep functional and technical knowledge of all SAP modules.

Proven experience in implementing BI platforms, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and AI solutions.

Exposure to Agentic AI and its application in business contexts.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation across multiple business units.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Key issues & challenges:

Cost Management: Cement manufacturing is a process-oriented industry with a strong emphasis on cost efficiency. The incumbent must design and manage IT frameworks that are lean, scalable, and cost-effective.

Stakeholder & Change Management: Navigating diverse stakeholder expectations and driving change across functions will be critical. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to manage resistance and foster adoption of new technologies.

Business Process Re-engineering: The candidate must lead initiatives to re-engineer legacy processes, aligning them with modern digital capabilities while ensuring minimal disruption.

Requirement Gathering & Scope Control: Business requirements are often incomplete or evolving. The incumbent must proactively engage with BU users to elicit, document, and validate requirements to prevent scope creep and ensure project success.

Complex Problem Solving: Business processes are deeply intertwined across functions. The ability to analyze problems from multiple perspectives and avoid one-size-fits-all solutions is essential.

Increasing automation, would require more resources and tools to manage the same to ensure a competitive edge.

Information security deployment to ensure Organization data is secured and protected.

Ensure safe use of GEN AI

Basic Educational Qualifications:

Essential: bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in SAP, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and AI technologies are a plus.
