About the Role:


We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with a strong background in automobile finance, car loans, and motor insurance. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, onboarding and managing channel partners (like dealers, agents, and DSAs), and achieving sales targets through innovative go-to-market strategies.


The ideal candidate is not only a skilled salesperson but also a strategic thinker who can drive partnership growth, lead field teams, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and marketing teams to scale the business in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Partnerships:


- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with automobile dealers, DSAs, brokers, and financial partners


- Develop strategic partnerships to drive car loan and insurance sales


- Explore new markets and customer segments for business growth


Sales & Target Achievement:


- Own and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for car loans and insurance


- Design and execute lead generation and conversion strategies


- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance and optimize campaigns accordingly


Team Leadership:


- Lead and mentor a field sales team; ensure daily productivity and pipeline building


- Train field executives and partner sales teams on product knowledge and pitch


- Drive ownership and accountability within the team


Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with product, underwriting, and operations teams for smooth loan/insurance processing


- Coordinate with marketing for digital and offline promotional campaigns


- Support the tech/product team with feedback and improvement suggestions from ground level insights


Market Research & Strategy:


- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences


- Prepare monthly/quarterly business plans and growth forecasts


- Recommend process improvements to enhance partner and customer experience


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred) in Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field


- 5-8 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or partnership management in finance/insurance sector (preferably automobile domain)


- Deep understanding of car loan & insurance products, processes, and documentation


- Strong network of channel partners (dealers/DSAs) in Bangalore or nearby markets


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills


- Strong leadership and team management capabilities


- Willingness to travel extensively for partner meetings and field visits


Nice to Have:


- Experience in a fintech, NBFC, or insurance aggregator


- Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting dashboards


- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
