We are currently seeking a Media & Entertainment Lawyer to join our team in Gurgaon. Location: Gurgaon, 6 days a week, Work from Office. Experience: 4 to 5 years in the Media & Entertainment Industry. Key Responsibilities: - Independently draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts/documents, including content licensing, commissioning, production contracts, marketing and agency contracts, in-film/co-branding agreements, IP monetization deals, service provider agreements, sponsorship agreements, artist/talent agreements, event agreements, ticketing agreements, NDAs, indemnity letters, notices, replies, etc. - Provide legal advice/opinions on matters pertaining to advertising, brand deals, live events, content development, production, distribution, licensing, and intellectual property rights. - Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry regulations and legal developments to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. - Stay current on new technologies and rights issues in the gaming, esports, live events, and media landscape, and advise different verticals accordingly. - Conduct content reviews and advise creative/business teams on content creation, IP management, event production/execution, brand deals, etc. - Maintain and update all relevant trackers and MIS regularly. Skills & Competencies: - Strong legal acumen with extensive exposure to the media & entertainment industry. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player. - Ability to align legal functions with business objectives in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to manage and lead a team.
