We are seeking a seasoned and strategic quality leader to drive world-class Quality Management Systems across our facilities, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior customer satisfaction.
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager Quality (QMS) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving the organizations Quality Management System. This includes leading initiatives aligned with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and VDA 6.3 standards across multiple sites. The role demands strong leadership, deep technical expertise in quality systems, and the ability to cultivate a culture of operational excellence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & QMS Oversight
- Develop, implement, and drive the companys quality strategy, policies, and objectives aligned with business goals.
- Serve as the QMS champion, ensuring all facilities adhere to IATF, ISO, and VDA standards.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish, monitor, and report on Plant KPIs and quality objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal audits; manage external audits from customers and certification bodies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Identify and mitigate quality and compliance risks, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Define and implement quality standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent product and process quality.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using core quality tools and statistical techniques.
- Introduce best-in-class QMS practices and tools, including electronic PLM and QMS software implementation.
Supplier & Customer Quality Management
- Establish and maintain supplier quality management processes, including audits and performance evaluation.
- Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction by proactively addressing complaints and feedback.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to quality teams across multiple facilities.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure awareness of QMS requirements and quality best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in quality management, preferably within the Automotive sector.
- Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality core tools, process control, and problem-solving techniques.
- Hands-on experience in audits, regulatory compliance, supplier quality, and cross-functional quality leadership.
