Role Overview
The Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in strengthening the organizations workforce by leading end-to-end hiring for corporate and plant functions.
This role requires deep expertise in manufacturing and engineering recruitment, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver quality talent within aggressive timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level roles across manufacturing, engineering, corporate, and plant operations.
- Partner closely with business leaders and plant heads to understand manpower planning, workforce needs, and role-specific hiring requirements.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job portals, referrals, headhunting, vendor partnerships, and talent mapping.
- Drive hiring for niche and critical engineering roles with a focus on quality, cost, and time-to-hire metrics.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, salary benchmarking, offer negotiations, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain strong recruitment analytics including hiring dashboards, funnel metrics, and recruitment MIS.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies and employer branding standards.
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and evaluate vendor performance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- MBA (HR or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in manufacturing and engineering hiring.
- Excellent stakeholder and candidate management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment and reporting.
