We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented AVP/VP - Finance & Accounts to lead the finance function for our real estate business. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, accounting operations, compliance, taxation, treasury, internal controls, and team management. The ideal candidate should bring strong domain expertise in real estate finance, project accounting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth plans

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis

- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets

- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures

- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and board presentations

- Monitor project-wise costing, profitability, and fund utilization

- Track construction budgets, cost escalations, and revenue recognition

- Liaise with project teams for financial planning and financial control

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, Income Tax, RERA, and Companies Act

- Manage internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits

- Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities

- Manage banking relationships, loan documentation, and working capital requirements

- Handle fund raising, debt structuring, and investor reporting

- Establish strong financial controls, SOPs, and risk mitigation processes

- Ensure adherence to policies and strengthen audit systems

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance & accounts team

- Drive performance, productivity, and capability enhancement across the function

Skills & Qualifications :

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance (Mandatory)

- 12-20 years of relevant experience

- AVP Level: 12-15 years

- VP Level: 15-20 years

- Strong knowledge of project accounting, compliance, taxation, and financial modeling

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle

- High integrity and strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in handling multiple real estate projects simultaneously

- Exposure to fund raising and investor relations

- Experience in IPO readiness or large-scale financial structuring will be an added advantage for VP-level candidates
