Description:
One of the fastest growing companies in the inverter-battery, power backup and solar energy space with a strong presence in manufacturing Pure-Sine Wave Inverters, Solar on-grid, off-grid & hybrid systems and power electronics solutions. The company is looking for a National Sales Head Role, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and implement the national sales strategy for solar inverters, batteries, and integrated energy solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships to drive growth.
- Achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets across regions.
2. Channel Development & Expansion:
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors, dealers, and sub-dealers in target markets.
- Strengthen existing channel relationships through structured engagement programs and support.
- Design and implement channel partner incentive schemes, loyalty programs, and performance rewards.
- Ensure adequate channel coverage and availability of products in all key markets.
3. Retail Market Penetration:
- Develop retail visibility programs and marketing tie-ups to enhance brand presence.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on POS materials, campaigns, and digital initiatives to drive footfall and lead generation.
- Monitor end-customer feedback, buying trends, and regional demand patterns.
4. Sales Operations & Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing regional sales team across zones (North, South, East, West).
- Conduct regular sales reviews and provide guidance for achieving regional targets.
- Ensure effective coordination between channel partners, logistics, and internal supply chain teams.
5. Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Analyze channel performance, secondary sales data, and market share trends.
- Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product introductions.
- Provide management with insights for continuous improvement in sales planning and forecasting.
