Job Summary: - As National Sales Head for General Trade - Large Accounts, you would be working directly with co-founder towards setting up and building a strong demand channel in Indian General Trade markets - focussing on large wholesalers & distributors in the categories operates in. - As a channel owner & leader, you would be pivotal in defining & shaping channel strategy & execution roadmap.You would be instrumental in recruiting & building a team towards meeting sales objectives. You would be working closely with category / procurement team on identifying the right Product-Market Fits that helps business grow. Key Responsibilities & Functional Competencies: - The successful candidate for this high impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, and have strengths in stakeholder management and negotiations. - Problem solving: The role needs the individual to be able to solve for a given business problem in sometimes an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams impacting decision making. - Out of the Box Thinking: the role needs someone who can develop solutions to convert buyers, retain buyers and drive category penetration - Data driven / analytical: The role requires the individual to be comfortable in processing and analyzing data towards designing the optimum growth strategy and execution plan. - Collaborative skills/ Stakeholder Management: The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success. She/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment. - Result orientation: The role is required to work on deliver on monthly numbers, short-term goals and longterm milestones set by business. Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success. - Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for supply partnership. Qualifications: - Absolutely strong problem-solving abilities and high bias for action. - Ability to discover & articulate problem statement. Find structure and solutions that helps build business. - Proven track record of successfully developing and managing client relationships. - Proven track record of working in a hypergrowth environment and ability to do zero to 1 and 1 to 100. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Exceptional leadership and team management skills. - Passionate and driven individual looking to work with a similar bunch of people! - MBA from Tier-1 B-schools (IIM, XLRI, ISB, MDI). - 4-6 years of experience in sales & distribution roles - A mix of experience with large company & an early stage start-up would be added bonus.
