Roles and responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Sales Growth:
- Develop and execute category-specific sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across Cheese and French Fries (frozen snacks) segments.
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g. sales volume, market penetration, distribution reach) and optimize routing, channel mix, and SKU performance.
Distribution & Channel Management:
- Oversee national distributor networks, ensuring strong coverage across major modern trade and retail channels.
- Drive secondary sales objectives and manage distributor performance against targets.
- Ensure timely and optimal product availability across territories.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead and mentor sales heads of regional zones, area managers, and distributor field teams.
Marketing & Trade Activation:
- Collaborate with trade marketing teams to plan and roll out promotions, product launches, and visibility campaigns.
- Monitor competition, pricing trends, and market consumer insights to inform trade promotions and strategy. Examples from sales strategy roles include conducting regular competitor and market analysis.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare annual plans, budgets, and forecasts specific to cheese and French fries categories.
- Present consolidated MIS and performance dashboards directly to senior leadership.
Key Account & Stakeholder Management:
- Drive relationship-building with key national retail chains and key accounts.
- Ensure efficient stakeholder interaction across supply chain, marketing, finance, and external agencies to deliver integrated business objectives.
