- We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Chartered Accountant (CA) with substantial industry experience to take on a strategic dual-role, overseeing our financial leadership functions while driving finance operations for client-side BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) engagements.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role across two verticals:
- Client-Side BOT Operations - Leading finance functions for global clients establishing offshore operations.
- Internal Finance & Strategic Compliance - Providing senior-level leadership across internal finance, compliance, and group-level strategy.
- This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong client-facing capabilities, financial acumen, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, including consultants, legal advisors, and government bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- BOT Model - Client-Side Finance Leadership.
- Lead the finance vertical for international clients establishing offshore operations under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model.
- Act as the primary client-facing finance lead, overseeing:.
- Financial modeling and setup during the build phase.
- Operational financial management during the transition phase.
- Handover support, ensuring continuity and compliance in the transfer phase.
- Liaise with external consultants, advisors, and internal teams to ensure timely, efficient execution of client deliverables.
- Internal Finance & Strategic Compliance Leadership.
- Head the Finance & Accounts team, overseeing:.
- Budgeting, MIS, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Cash flow planning and cost optimization across business units.
- Ensure full statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance at the group level.
- Oversee the preparation of investor reports, strategic business updates, and consolidation plans.
- Represent finance in senior management and investor meetings; support long-term planning and strategic initiatives.
- Strategic Coordination with External Stakeholders.
- Coordinate with GIFT City SEZ consultants on entity structuring, regulatory alignment, and incentive frameworks.
- Engage with subsidy consultants to assess eligibility, facilitate applications, and oversee execution.
- Work closely with legal advisors to draft, review, and negotiate service agreements and compliance-related documentation.
- Supervise statutory and financial audits in coordination with external auditors.
- Manage ongoing corporate secretarial functions, ensuring timely filings and governance compliance through CS firms.
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record in finance leadership roles.
- 7-12 years of progressive experience, ideally combining internal finance leadership with external client or consulting exposure.
- Prior experience with global clients, offshore operations, or BOT setups is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of compliance, tax structuring, and cross-border financial operations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive transition environments with discretion and maturity.
- Strategic mindset with willingness to contribute to business growth and long-term planning.
