About the Role :

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Finance to lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, governance, business partnering, investor relations, fundraising, and M&A initiatives.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing financial stewardship, business insights, capital allocation strategies, and growth-focused financial leadership to support rapid business expansion.

This role requires strong expertise across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, Accounting & Controllership, Investor Relations, Fundraising, Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling the organization, driving profitability, supporting strategic investments, and preparing the business for future funding rounds, acquisitions, or IPO readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Strategy & Leadership :

- Develop and execute enterprise financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and strategic planning.

- Drive long-range financial planning and value creation initiatives.

- Provide financial insights supporting strategic decision-making.

- Evaluate business expansion opportunities and investment priorities.

- Support board-level financial governance and reporting.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :

Lead enterprise-wide planning and performance management.

Responsibilities :

- Annual operating plan development.

- Long-range strategic planning.

- Budgeting and forecasting.

- Monthly and quarterly financial reviews.

- Profitability analysis.

- Cost optimization initiatives.

- Scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

- Business performance reporting.

Business Finance :

Act as strategic finance partner to business leadership.

Responsibilities :

- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, Technology, and Product teams.

- Support pricing and commercial strategy.

- Evaluate business investments and initiatives.

- Develop profitability models.

- Monitor business performance metrics.

- Drive accountability for financial outcomes.

Investor Relations :

Lead communication and engagement with investors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

- Develop investor relations strategy.

- Prepare board and investor presentations.

- Support investor communications.

- Manage financial disclosures and reporting.

- Coordinate investor meetings and reviews.

- Build relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders.

Financial Controllers & Accounting :

- Lead accounting operations and financial governance.

Responsibilities :

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

- Oversee General Ledger and accounting operations.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Establish financial controls and governance frameworks.

- Manage audits and regulatory reporting.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) :

- Lead financial evaluation and execution of strategic transactions.

Responsibilities :

- Identify acquisition opportunities.

- Perform financial due diligence.

- Develop valuation models.

- Lead transaction financial workstreams.

- Support integration planning and execution.

- Conduct synergy assessments.

Fund Raising & Capital Management :

Support organizational growth through capital acquisition.

- Support debt and equity financing activities.

- Manage lender relationships.

Treasury & Cash Management :

- Monitor foreign exchange exposure.

- Ensure adequate capital availability.

Risk Management & Compliance :

- Establish enterprise financial risk framework.

- Manage financial compliance programs.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.

- MBA (Finance) preferred.

Experience :

- 15 - 25 years of progressive finance leadership experience.

- 8+ years leading finance organizations.

- Experience supporting high-growth organizations, GCCs, technology firms, consulting organizations, SaaS companies, or multinational enterprises.

- Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and M&A support.

- Experience presenting to Boards, Investors, and Executive Leadership.
