
The Technical Product Owner acts as a liaison for the processes and development around our Practice Management product functionality.
This person will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, key stakeholders, and customers, to identify core business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.

Job Description:
- Previous Healthcare or Practice Management experience (Required)
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and problem investigation (Required)
- Engage with stakeholders (internal teams, customers, and partners) to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for AI- and automation-driven features in the practice management system.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements including workflow diagrams, use cases, business rules, and technical specifications that clearly define AI logic, automation triggers, and expected outcomes.
- Identify process inefficiencies using quantifiable metrics and propose automation solutions to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve financial and operational outcomes.
- Apply advanced business analysis methods and domain knowledge to design solutions that leverage AI capabilities while ensuring compliance, scalability, and usability.
- Conduct market, competitive, and user research to validate automation opportunities and inform prioritization.
- Collaborate closely with product management to define scope, assess feasibility, and prioritize AI and automation features within product roadmaps.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, address edge cases, and ensure solutions meet functional and performance criteria.
- Plan and execute validation testing (functional, workflow, and usability) for AI/automation features, including model accuracy assessments and automation reliability checks.
- Coordinate alpha/beta programs for AI and automation initiatives, gathering structured feedback and identifying enhancements prior to general release.
- Support release readiness by preparing clear documentation, collaborating with Communications for release notes, and enabling internal teams through training materials.
- Serve as a change champion for AI adoption, driving a culture of customer-centric innovation and measurable value creation through automation.
- Manage multiple high-visibility projects with minimal supervision, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
