Work mode: Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
Work hours: 2pm to 11pm
Our client is seeking a Manager HR Business Partner (India) to support the establishment, stabilization, and growth of our client's India Global Capability Center. This role will partner closely with India leadership and US-based stakeholders to drive people strategy, workforce effectiveness, and a strong employee experience for a growing population of professionals.
This Manager-level role balances hands-on HR execution with strategic business partnering, aligned to our clients global HR operating model currently deployed in the Philippines and the US.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Leadership Partnership
- Translate business goals into people strategies covering workforce planning, engagement, and capability building
- Partner with US and global leaders on India workforce planning, org design, and talent readiness
- Provide datadriven HR insights to support decisionmaking and scalability
Workforce & Talent Management
- Enable performance management cycles, goal setting, reviews, and manager coaching
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring plans aligned to GCC growth targets
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Drive engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and culture integration aligned with our values
- Coach managers on performance issues, conduct management, and difficult conversations
- Actively manage attrition risks and develop retention interventions
HR Operations, Governance & Compliance (India)
- Act as POSH representative or support Internal Committee governance
- Partner with Legal and Payroll on employee contracts, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation
- Support audits, inspections, and statutory reporting related to India HR operations
Global Collaboration & Process Alignment
- Localize global HR policies, processes, and programs for India while maintaining governance
- Support change management for global initiatives rolled out in the India GCC
- Operate effectively across time zones with US and Philippines stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelors degree/PG in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- 6-10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles
- Proven experience supporting 100300+ employee span in a growing or scaleup environment
- Strong exposure to global / US MNC environments and working with international stakeholders
- Handson experience covering employee relations, performance management, engagement, and compliance
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR governance requirements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problemsolving skills
Preferred
- Exposure to phased setup or expansion of India operations
- Experience partnering with HR COEs and global HR teams
