- We are seeking a dynamic and talented professional to drive the sales and marketing efforts for our portfolio of Marketplace applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both direct and channel sales, with a strong background in marketing strategies to effectively promote cloud-based solutions.
- Specialist will be responsible for creating customer awareness and generating opportunities for our Marketplace Applications through personalized emails, social media platforms such as LinkedIn, online databases, websites, etc.
- They will collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing campaigns, messaging, and collateral to promote our marketplace applications across various channels. Essential to success in this role is a keen ability to identify prospects proactively and consistently, developing contacts and generating qualified opportunities across all geographies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth for marketplace applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to grow the partner ecosystem, attract new customers.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients to understand their needs and goals.
- Conduct market and prospect research to identify potential customers and key decision-makers.
- Identify target customer opportunities, leveraging both direct sales and through channel partners.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional marketplace apps or services.
- Maintain regular communication to stay updated on customer/ partner needs and initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and industry trends related to the marketplace application.
- Maintain regular contact with prospects through email, follow-up calls, and social media interactions.
- Collaborate with partners to create joint business plans and define strategies for achieving them.
- Support partners in sales efforts, including participating in joint sales calls, presentations, and demos.
- Use CRM tools to track interactions, update lead information, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Report regularly on sales performance and progress towards goals to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years' experience in Sales and Marketing of SaaS/ Marketplace Apps in a B2B environment.
- Prior experience working in both direct and channel sales, preferably in the technology industry.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or an appropriate field.
- Must have the aptitude and passion for Technology and Sales.
- Track record in lead generation for IT solutions and services globally.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to build connections with CXO / VP / GM-level executives.
- Ability to write creative content for social media posts, email campaigns, etc.
- Proficiency in understanding and explaining technical aspects of the Applications.
- Hands-on experience prospecting, cold calling, database building, and lead generation.
- Familiar with a wide range of marketing practices and lead generation tactics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and collaborative work environment.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive business decisions.
- Must have a good industry network and existing relationships with C-level contacts.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other related applications.
- Highly adaptable, process-oriented, result-driven, quick learner, and team player.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Possess high motivation, initiative, enthusiasm, integrity, discipline, and commitment.
