About the Team:
Meesho Grocery aims to revolutionise the way India shops for Grocery and towards that objective, we want to enable the lowest cost distribution for all daily needs. Grocery has the biggest share of the overall retail spend in India. It is projected to be a $800B market in 2024, of which the majority contribution comes from non-metro cities. The grocery market in Metro and Tier 1 has become crowded with a lot of players trying to solve the supply chain but the higher cost of logistics restricts these players from disrupting the lower-tier cities. At Meesho Grocery, we are building the most cost-effective distribution channel to disrupt the grocery market in lower-tier cities of India. Meesho Grocery is an early-stage mini start-up within Meesho with a completely different supply chain and modus operandi. We are a bunch of high-energy enthusiasts working towards creating something cool and big.
About the Role:
The Control tower will drive instrumentation and capture of near real-time data from across the e cosystem to provide enhanced visibility to all stakeholders and improved actionable decision making. As control tower for experience you will be expected to create L1, L2 and L3 metrics dashboard and monitor progress against the BHAGs. You'd be responsible for ensuring that all system and processes are running as per design.
This role requires high degree of stakeholder management and cross org coordination to build trust in the ecosystem and drive actionability through coordination with various teams. You will be required to closely work with Ops, product and programs team to automate monitoring of metrics and track progress
What you will do:
- Ensuring that all system and processes are running as per design
- Creating L1, L2 and L3 metrics dashboard and monitor progress against the BHAGs
- Solving given business problems sometimes in an ambiguous state
- Working on delivery of short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business. Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success
- Desirable Skills : Planning, Structural decision making even in ambiguous environment, Data-orientation, Stakeholder management, Business acumen, Readiness to travel
What you will need:
- B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA degree in any discipline (preferably premium institutes)
- Minimum 5 years of prior work experience in a fast paced startup or a consulting firm
- Proven problem-solving skills
