Meesho - Assistant Manager - Control Tower

About the Team:

Meesho Grocery aims to revolutionise the way India shops for Grocery and towards that objective, we want to enable the lowest cost distribution for all daily needs. Grocery has the biggest share of the overall retail spend in India. It is projected to be a $800B market in 2024, of which the majority contribution comes from non-metro cities. The grocery market in Metro and Tier 1 has become crowded with a lot of players trying to solve the supply chain but the higher cost of logistics restricts these players from disrupting the lower-tier cities.

At Meesho Grocery, we are building the most cost-effective distribution channel to disrupt the grocery market in lower tier cities of India. Meesho Grocery is an early-stage mini start-up within Meesho with a completely different supply chain and modus operandi. We are a bunch of high-energy enthusiasts working towards creating something cool and big.

About the Role:

The Control Tower functions as the central command center for monitoring end-to-end grocery supply chain performance. This role will drive daily KPI governance, resolve operational bottlenecks, and improve service levels across Processing centres, linehaul, and last mile. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on both operations and customer experience.

What you will do:

- Track and govern daily KPIs through relevant metrics

- Drive structured daily/weekly performance reviews

- Lead RCAs by coordinating with different stakeholders and implement corrective & preventive actions

- Coordinate cross-functional teams during high-impact issues and peak events

- Building visibility into daily business performance across different stakeholders

- Build and maintain automated dashboardsIdentify structural supply chain inefficiencies through deep dives

What you will need:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Experience in Fulfillment Centers, Logistics, or any control tower setup.

- Experience in supply chain operations preferably in control tower operations in ecommerce or grocery or quick commerce

- Strong Excel skills

- Understanding of supply chain concepts

- Strong structured problem identification and solving ability

- High ownership and stakeholder management & cross-functional collaboration

- Ability to operate in ambiguity and high-growth environments
