Qualification: MBBS with Master's in Hospital Administration / Health Management (preferred)

Experience: 10-15 years in hospital operations / clinical administration, including 3-5 years in a leadership role

Role Overview:

The Medical Superintendent will oversee overall hospital administration, clinical governance, and operational efficiency to ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will act as a bridge between the medical, administrative, and management teams to maintain seamless hospital functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership to all clinical and non-clinical departments ensuring quality medical care delivery.

- Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, Emergency, ICU, OT, and diagnostic services.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, ethical, and accreditation standards (NABH/JCI).

- Coordinate with department heads, nursing, and paramedical teams for smooth service delivery.

- Implement patient safety protocols, infection control measures, and quality improvement programs.

- Supervise medical records, medico-legal documentation, and incident reporting systems.

- Manage manpower planning, duty rosters, and medical staff performance.

- Liaise with the management for resource allocation, budgeting, and strategic planning.

- Serve as the primary contact for clinical audits, inspections, and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- MBBS with MHA / MD (Hospital Administration) preferred.

- 8-15 years of experience in hospital administration or clinical management.

- Proven leadership experience in a 200+ bedded multispecialty hospital.

- Strong knowledge of NABH/JCI standards, hospital operations, and clinical protocols.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
