About the Role
Outclass Manager will be closely working with the stakeholders: Director PGP, Head Outclass PGP, Team of mentors and operations, and students. As manager outclass you will closely work in building and modifying the curriculum for outclass, making students experience building a startup efficiently and full of learning. The person should be academically strong to judge the progress done and to evaluate their startups and performance. Experience in Incubators, investing and VC funds managing for 1 to 2 years is required and essential for the job role. The role will focus on building impactful experiences for students through creator-led workshops, venture incubation, and startup mentorship. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs, has a knack for coordinating high-impact events, and is skilled at fostering partnerships with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
Specifically, this role will involve
- Designing and executing workshops to provide students with hands-on learning experiences from top-tier creators and industry experts.
- Identify and on-boarding industry-leading creators and mentors to inspire and mentor students on their creative and entrepreneurial journeys.
- Managing all aspects of the Creator Challenge, drop-shipping and venture initiation program ensuring smooth execution and impactful outcomes.
- Leveraging innovative strategies to maximize engagement and learning for participants.
- Curating and managing a venture initiation program for students pursuing startup ideas.
- Developing actionable outcomes for participants, emphasizing practical, hands-on learning.
- Providing guidance to students in their zero-to-one startup journeys.
- Facilitating monthly grants and other support mechanisms to help students launch and scale their ventures.
- Highlighting program successes, such as the 25 students last year who opted out of placements to focus on startups.
- Building relationships with incubators, venture funds, and accelerators to support program participants.
- Organizing networking events, including dinners and workshops, with leaders from public and private markets to foster connections and opportunities.
- Collaborating with the broader team to align program outcomes with organizational goals.
- Continuously innovating and improving the program framework to enhance its impact and scalability.
Ideal candidate will have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in investing, hosting workshops as part of VC funds, and incubators..
- Strong understanding of creator economy trends and startup incubation processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for mentoring and empowering students in their entrepreneurial endeavors
