About the Role:


The Manager - Finance will be responsible for driving taxation, financial compliance, controls, and process excellence across the organization. This role demands a hands-on finance professional with strong expertise in direct and indirect taxation, statutory compliance, financial controls, and cross-border transactions, who can operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and strengthen finance governance as the organization scales.

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, refunds, and advisory on place of supply.

- Handle TDS compliance, including complex provisions such as Section 195 (cross-border payments).

- Support income tax assessments, notices, and litigation coordination.

- Assist in international taxation matters and FEMA compliance.

- Ensure adherence to ODI regulations and cross-border remittance frameworks.

- Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes across entities.

- Oversee statutory compliance across domestic and international entities.

- Support financial, direct tax, and indirect tax due diligence exercises.

- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and Big 4 firms for audits, closures, and reconciliations.

- Drive finance process standardization and system automation initiatives.

- Collaborate with technology teams on ERP optimization and API integrations.

- Identify control gaps in inter-company transactions and recommend corrective actions.

- Improve MIS and reporting frameworks to enhance leadership visibility and decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including revenue recognition principles.

- Monitor revenue structuring for export-linked and cross-border transactions.

- Support accurate cost-revenue mapping and ensure integrity of financial reporting.

Requirements:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

Strong exposure to:

- GST & Indirect Tax

- Direct Tax (including TDS & Section 195)

- FEMA & cross-border compliance

- Statutory audits and due diligence

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of financial systems / ERP tools.

- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-entity global setup.

- Strong coordination skills to work with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

- High ownership mindset with a focus on governance, compliance, and process excellence.
