About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and execution-focused Content Head to lead our content function end-to-end.
This role is responsible for defining the content vision, creating the long-term and short-term content strategy, and establishing a clear roadmap and blueprint for content execution across all channels.
The Content Head will own the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of all content produced and will give the final go / no-go approval on major content pieces.
This is a leadership position that requires strong storytelling ability, deep strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business goals into impactful content experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Vision:
- Define and own the organisations content strategy across long-term and short-term horizons.
- Create a comprehensive content roadmap and blueprint covering themes, formats, channels, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
- Align content strategy with business goals, brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and product priorities.
- Establish content pillars, editorial themes, and messaging frameworks based on audience research and industry insights.
Content Planning & Execution:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the editorial calendar ensuring timely delivery of content assets.
- Lead content creation across formatsarticles, blogs, web copy, case studies, videos, emailers, social media, whitepapers, thought leadership, and more.
- Provide final go / no-go approval on key content pieces to ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand tone, voice, messaging, and compliance standards.
- Establish clear workflows, production processes, and editorial guidelines.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Build and manage a high-performing content team comprising writers, editors, strategists, designers, videographers, and external freelancers.
- Set performance goals, mentor team members, and create a culture of creativity, accountability, and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering, Sales, UX, Customer Success, and external subject-matter experts to produce targeted, meaningful content.
Quality, Governance & Brand Integrity:
- Maintain high editorial and production standards across all content.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, brand, and accessibility requirements.
- Manage content lifecycle including audits, refreshes, updates, and retirement of outdated content.
- Safeguard brand reputation through consistent messaging and high-quality storytelling.
Measurement, Reporting & Optimisation:
- Define KPIs for content performance (engagement, traffic, conversions, SEO ranking, lead generation).
- Monitor content analytics and present insights to leadership with improvement recommendations.
- Continuously optimize content through experimentation, A/B testing, and performance-driven iterations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging content formats, technology, and audience behaviours.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (CS or similar),Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- A master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8 - 12+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, or content marketing roles.
- Proven experience managing content teams and leading multi-channel content programs.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, content analytics, and brand storytelling.
- Experience in a fast-growing tech, SaaS, B2B, or services-driven organisation preferred.

- Analytical mindset with experience in evaluating content performance metrics.
