Key Responsibilities:
Tender Opportunity Management:
- Proactively identify and assess relevant tenders from government (GeM, CPP Portal) and private sector sources aligned with our product capabilities and business goals.
Bid Preparation & Submission:
- Prepare and compile high-quality, compliant technical and commercial proposals including all supporting documentation as per tender specifications.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements throughout the tender lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Liaise with internal teamsSales, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Operationsto gather necessary inputs for proposal development and validation.
Partner & Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external partners, subcontractors, and vendors to secure required documents, certifications, and quotations.
Post-Bid Management:
- Manage responses to tender clarifications, monitor bid statuses, support negotiations, and facilitate contract finalization.
Market & Policy Intelligence:
- Stay informed on government procurement policies, emerging trends in drone tech, and competitive landscape to enhance win rates.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain an organized repository of tender submissions, contract outcomes, and key learnings for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of government e-procurement platforms (GeM, CPP Portal, eTender India)
- Expertise in bid documentation, tender compliance, and RFP analysis
- Strong business acumen and ability to interpret technical and commercial bid specifications
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital tendering tools
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain, Contracts, or Tender Management (preferred)
- 36 years of hands-on experience in tender/bid management, preferably in aerospace, public sector contracting, or high-tech manufacturing
