About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Client Success Manager with a strong new business (hunter) orientation to drive growth in the US market, specifically within the Chemical and Healthcare sectors.
This is a revenue-first role, where 6070% of the focus is on new logo acquisition, complemented by strategic account growth. You will engage with C-level stakeholders, build relationships from scratch, and position MarketsandMarkets Research, Advisory, and subscription platforms (Knowledge Store, SalesPlay, etc.) as strategic enablers for business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development (70-80% | Core Focus)
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in the US market
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across Chemical & Healthcare industries
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting pitching proposal negotiation closure
- Position Research, Advisory, and subscription platforms (Knowledge Store, SalesPlay, etc.) through consultative selling
2. Strategic Account Growth (20%)
- Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic accounts (35 clients)
- Drive renewals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders
3. Consultative & Insight-Led Selling
Act as a trusted advisor to clients by:
- Understanding their business challenges
- Recommending relevant research, advisory, and platform-based solutions
- Driving adoption of subscription platforms for continuous value realization
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with research, product, and delivery teams
- Translate client requirements into actionable research briefs and platform use cases
- Ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience:
12+ years of experience in:
- B2B Sales / Key Account Management / Consultative Selling
- Strong track record in hunting (new business acquisition)
- Experience working with US/Global clients is mandatory
- Prior experience selling into Chemical or Healthcare companies is highly preferred
Core Skills:
- Proven ability to break into new accounts and win new logos
- Strong executive presence with CXO-level engagement
- Expertise in solution/consultative selling (Consulting, research, SaaS, or subscription platforms)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, high-performance environment
