About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Marketing Manager to lead and drive regional growth and brand activation for a leading Agri-Ecommerce platform.
This is a mission-critical role focused on scaling user acquisition, improving engagement metrics, and building trust within the farming community through innovative and hyper-localized marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with deep agricultural domain knowledge and brings proven experience in rural marketing, campaign management, and community building.
You will play a pivotal role in aligning marketing strategy with business goals to unlock sustained growth across rural ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Campaign Leadership: Design and implement region-specific marketing strategies aimed at user growth, engagement, and retention.
- Community Growth & Engagement: Expand platform adoption by building trusted relationships with farmer communities, rural influencers, and agri-focused stakeholders.
- Performance-Driven Execution: Ensure rapid awareness-to-conversion cycles by optimizing on-ground campaign tools and resources for maximum ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business development and sales teams to ensure full-funnel alignment and consistent messaging.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of marketing professionals and ensure delivery against key KPIs.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze marketing performance metrics, derive insights, and continuously refine marketing tactics for better outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with regional opinion leaders, agri-dealers, and institutional partners to enhance market presence and brand equity.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Leverage digital technologies and campaign tools to implement scalable, impactful initiatives tailored to rural consumer behavior.
Qualifications & Capabilities
- 58 years of marketing experience, preferably in AgriTech, Agrochemical, or Rural FMCG sectors
- Proven expertise in campaign design, execution, and performance analysis
- Strong command of digital and traditional marketing ecosystems
- Deep understanding of rural consumer behavior and agricultural business models
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to operate under ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to scale marketing operations and drive measurable impact
- MBA in marketing is required
