Market Risk Infrastructure Associate

We are hiring for a Market Risk Management - MRI Associate role

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience: 4- 7 years

Level: Associate

Role Overview:

- The role sits within the Market Risk Infrastructure (MRI) function under Market Risk Management. The incumbent will support risk data validation, market risk reporting, risk limit management, and regulatory deliverables, working closely with Risk Managers, Technology, and Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support T+1 market risk sign- off processes

- Analyse market risk data, resolve breaks, and perform data clean- up

- Implement and monitor data quality controls across risk systems

- Support risk limit management and supervisory controls

- Produce weekly management reports and key risk metrics

- Participate in regulatory initiatives such as BCBS 239, FRTB

- Contribute to target operating model design aligned with business needs

- Engage with cross- functional stakeholders including Risk, IT, Change Management, and Business teams

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong understanding of Market Risk concepts and measures (VaR, SVaR, IRC, etc.)

- Solid knowledge of financial products

- Proficiency in SQL / Oracle queries and VBA macros

- Strong data analysis, validation, and reporting capabilities

- Experience in risk data management, controls, and governance

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical mindset; ability to work in a fast- paced, collaborative environment

Educational Qualification:

- B. Tech with MBA (mandatory)
