Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Bid Manager Government Tender & Partner Support to lead and coordinate MapleClouds public sector bidding operations.
This role involves managing the entire tender lifecycle from opportunity tracking, RFP/RFQ analysis, and proposal preparation to submission and partner coordination.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Government tender management, strong understanding of cybersecurity or IT infrastructure solutions, and excellent coordination skills to work across OEM, partner, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender & Bid Management:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process for Central/State Government, PSU, Smart City, and Defense opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and evaluate RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs from GeM, CPP, NIC, and State e-procurement portals.
- Prepare detailed bid checklists, compliance matrices, and submission timelines.
- Ensure complete, accurate, and compliant documentation for every tender submission.
- Manage submission on e-tender portals and ensure all technical, financial, and administrative requirements are met.
Proposal Preparation & Coordination:
- Collaborate with technical, product, and finance teams to prepare professional, compliant proposals.
- Draft bid responses highlighting MapleClouds cybersecurity portfolio, OEM advantages, certifications, and differentiators.
- Coordinate with documentation teams to prepare technical write-ups, datasheets, annexures, and declarations.
- Review tenders for eligibility, pre-qualification criteria, and ensure all supporting documents are valid and updated.
Partner & Channel Support:
- Liaise with system integrators, resellers, and channel partners for joint bidding and consortiums.
- Issue OEM Authorization / Undertaking Letters, compliance documents, and partner support certificates as per tender formats.
- Maintain active relationships with key partners to facilitate collaborative bid participation.
- Assist partners in understanding MapleClouds product positioning, compliance, and value propositions for Government bids.
Compliance & Documentation Management:
- Maintain a centralized repository of tender documents, certificates, templates, and credentials.
- Ensure company registrations (MSME, DPIIT, GEM, GST, ISO, etc.) are up-to-date for tender participation.
- Track bid status, clarifications, corrigenda, and post-bid follow-ups systematically.
- Maintain and update bid MIS reports for management review.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Continuously monitor upcoming tenders and proactively identify opportunities aligned with MapleClouds product portfolio.
- Conduct competitor analysis to refine pricing, positioning, and bid strategies.
- Gather market insights on new government cybersecurity initiatives, empanelments, and procurement trends.
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelors degree (preferably in Engineering / IT / Computer Science).
Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in Government tendering / bid management / proposal coordination.
- Proven track record of managing Government / PSU / Smart City / State IT bids.
- Experience working with Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, or OEM product companies.
Technical & Process Skills:
- Hands-on experience with GeM, CPP, NIC, and State e-Procurement portals.
- Strong documentation and drafting skills (technical & financial proposals).
- Familiar with OEM authorization formats, BOQ compliance, and bid evaluation frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
Desirable Attributes:
- Familiarity with Government procurement policies, MeitY empanelment, and Cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, CERT-In).
- Understanding of OEM channel ecosystem and partner engagement practices.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
